Ouch

Dang, I pulled a rib muscle and it hurts like hell. Hurts to breathe, cough, sniff, sneeze, move, just about hurts to do anything. I can't belive I pulled a muscle tying my shoe...

Lots of Snow

Oh man two snow days! It was great. 2, 3 maybe 4 inches of snow, I don't know. But it was pretty and fun. Had Ryder, Bryan and Ashley over and we played in the snow and sled down a little hill. Ryder had a ton of fun. One more day of cold and then I think it's suppose to start raining and be back to normal.

Snow!

Snow is in the forecast, lots of it. But sometimes here where I live we just get the weather report, but never the snow. I would love to see a few inches of snow...

I love to sleep in a Saturday

Ryder spent the night and he woke me up at exactly 8:00 am,   we laid around in bed and watched TV.

A trip to the vet

Since I have Dory signed up for dog training classes, she needed to be up to date with her shots. Since she was a rescue dog we don't know if she ever had shots. So I took her into the vet today to get up to date. Well she like being there BUT did not like the shots. First shot she yelped and growled so the tech gal went and got an extra tech to hold Dory and I got to leave the room. Well she tried to bite him, so they put a muzzle on her. Which worked out fine. Once that was all done she was fine. They gave me some happy pills for her next trip. She growled at a few dogs, so now I'm concerned how she will behave at the training class. I might have to use the claw collar if they approve, then she won't pull so hard and might behave better. I hope this training stuff works, because she really needs it.

Friday! Yippe

Finally Friday.... Me and Ryder are having a very small Valentine party tomorrow. We are inviting his mom and dad and that's it! But you must bring homemade valentine's. I'm serving a nice big baked ham, potato dish and some sort of veggie. Also, I will bake up some cupcakes tonight.
 Will need to help Ryder make some valentine's. I was thinking  a photo of Ryder in a heart shape paper frame.

Pondering

I was thinking about maybe buying a ipad and then I thought no maybe the Samsung Galaxy Tab. I need to research a  bit and see which one would be best for me.  They both seem really cool.
That's all... Thursday needs to hurry up and be over... I have a ton of things to do at home.
Me and Ryder are going to have aValentine Brunch on Saturday. I need to plan our menu and get moving on decorations. :)

Dory

I just signed up for dog training class for me and Dory our little black border collie. Doesn't that sound fun! She is a great little girl, but has a few problems like running away from us, barking at us like she is talking and she needs to learn to calm down and not choke herself on the leash. I will post some pictures of her and keep you up to date about our classes....they start Feb. 24th.
Will have to make  trip to PetSmart for a new leash and collar...must look good in class.

Sister's coming for visit

Well it's not like they're  flying in from some exotic place. But they are driving down from Marysville and Bothell. But it will be great to see them. I really think it's beens in since July! Oh no that's wrong we had a birthday party for my Mom at Nan's in Sept. So that was the last time.
We're going out to lunch then to the cemetery and after that I don't know. But I plan on taking some pictures of the falls at the resturant and of course some pics of my food!
